Juventus Eyes Rescue Mission: Sancho’s Serie A Journey?

Juventus is reportedly considering offering Jadon Sancho an escape route from his Manchester United struggles through a loan-to-buy deal. According to The Sun, Juventus is contemplating a loan move for Sancho in January. As part of the deal, the Serie A giants would expect United to cover half of Sancho’s £350,000 per week wages. Juventus might also pursue a permanent transfer next summer, with a potential £60 million ($73 million) offer on the table.

In a broader context, Sancho’s career at Old Trafford has suffered a significant setback just two years after his high-profile £73 million move from Borussia Dortmund. A falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag led to Sancho being omitted from the squad for the match against Arsenal last month. Ten Hag cited the winger’s subpar performance in training as the reason. Sancho countered Ten Hag’s claims, arguing that he had been unfairly scapegoated since joining the club. Consequently, he has not featured for United and has been training alone.

Regarding Sancho’s future, it appears increasingly unlikely for him to reconcile with Ten Hag without issuing an apology. While there have been links suggesting a return to Dortmund, The Sun indicates that Sancho is leaning towards a move to Serie A, specifically eyeing a potential switch to Juventus.
