Chelsea and Premier League Rivals Vie for Rising Star Roony Bardghji

Chelsea is part of a group of Premier League clubs expressing interest in securing the talents of Copenhagen’s Roony Bardghji, the 17-year-old who notably scored against Manchester United in a recent match. According to The Sun, Bardghji is already under the watchful eyes of several Premier League teams, with Crystal Palace, Chelsea, and Newcastle United reportedly standing out as his major admirers.

However, adding a twist to the story, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is poised to acquire a minority stake in the very United team Bardghji scored against, is also in the mix. Ratcliffe, though, has his sights set on bringing Bardghji to Nice, another club under his ownership.

Zooming out for a broader perspective, the Kuwait-born player made an immediate impact on Copenhagen’s first team in the previous campaign and has solidified his position as a regular this season. His remarkable late-game winner in the 4-3 comeback victory against 10-man United showcased his prowess. With a total of 16 goals in 65 games for Copenhagen, including 11 in 24 games this season, Bardghji has certainly made a significant mark on the football scene.
