AS Roma’s star player, Paulo Dybala, has decided to stay at the Stadio Olimpico, despite attracting interest from several other clubs, including Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Saudi Arabia. According to Calciomercato, the Argentine forward is on the verge of extending his current contract with Roma, which is set to expire in June 2025.
Dybala’s contract will include a release clause of €12 million for non-Italian teams. However, he has expressed his satisfaction with remaining at Roma, signaling his commitment to the club.
Calciomercato reveals that AS Roma’s Sporting Director, Tiago Pinto, has successfully negotiated with Dybala’s representatives, resulting in an improved contract for the player. Dybala’s salary will be raised from €4.5 million, along with bonuses, to €6 million, with additional bonuses of approximately €1 million. The contract extension is expected to be in effect until 2026, with Roma also holding the option to extend it for an additional season.
As the agreement nears completion, Roma fans can rejoice, knowing that their star player will be staying with the team and playing a crucial role in their future endeavors.
