Bayern Munich Sets Deadline for Tottenham to Accept Transfer Offer for Kane

According to The Telegraph, Bayern Munich has given Tottenham Hotspur a deadline until midnight on Friday to accept their latest offer for Harry Kane. The German champions are also exploring alternative transfer targets should they fail to reach an agreement with Tottenham.

The situation surrounding Kane’s future is pressing, with all parties, including Kane himself, eager to have a resolution before Spurs’ first Premier League match against Brentford next Sunday. If Bayern cannot secure a deal, Kane is expected to stay at Tottenham for the final year of his contract and then leave on a free transfer next summer.

For Bayern to land their primary target, they must be prepared to pay a club-record transfer fee of €100 million (£86.1m/$109.5). Currently, there is a difference of approximately £20 million between the two clubs’ valuations, as negotiations took place in London between Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Bayern’s chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe.
