Chelsea and Manchester United Keep Watch On Young Sensation Lorran

Manchester United and Chelsea are closely observing the progress of Flamengo’s rising star, Lorran, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano. Both Premier League clubs have recently dispatched scouts to monitor the 17-year-old attacking midfielder.

Lorran, a product of Flamengo’s youth academy, has been given a taste of first-team action this season. He made his senior debut in January, coming on as a late substitute against Audax Rio. In his first start, he made history by scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Bangu Atletico Clube, becoming Flamengo’s youngest-ever scorer at just 16 years old.

Chelsea has been active in the Brazilian league, securing signings such as Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama, and Angelo Gabriel and Deivid Washington from Santos. Meanwhile, Manchester United currently boasts Brazilian talents Casemiro and Antony in their squad.

Lorran’s contract with Flamengo includes a €50 million (£43m/$53m) release clause, and it runs until the end of 2025. Notably, he has joined ROC Nation Sports, the agency founded by renowned rapper Jay Z, alongside fellow Brazilians Vinicius Junior, Lucas Paqueta, Gabriel Martinelli, and Endrick.
