In a bid to maintain his fitness, the 30-year-old has been engaged in training activities with West Ham, subsequent to Nottingham Forest’s decision not to extend his contract. Notably, Lingard had a previous stint at West Ham under the guidance of David Moyes. During this period, he secured a six-month loan agreement with the club in January 2021. Lingard’s impact was immediate, as he contributed nine goals and facilitated five assists across 16 Premier League matches.
