Juventus Eyes Arsenal’s Partey: Midfield Replacement Hunt Heats Up

In January, Juventus is setting its sights on Arsenal’s Thomas Partey as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba in midfield, according to reports from TuttoJuve.com. Partey, who has faced numerous injuries this season, has seen limited playing time, totaling only 341 minutes for the Gunners. This lack of game time has led to speculation that he might be considering a move away from Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window. Partey’s current contract with Arsenal runs until 2025, and if he decides to leave, the club is expected to demand a transfer fee of around €30 million (£26 million/$31.7 million). However, Juventus seems reluctant to meet this asking price and is exploring the possibility of a loan deal instead.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is dealing with a shortage of midfield options due to the absence of players like Paul Pogba, who is serving a lengthy suspension after testing positive for a banned substance, and Nicolo Fagioli, who is currently suspended for seven months due to his involvement in betting on illegal platforms. As a result, Juventus is actively seeking reinforcements to bolster their midfield lineup, with Partey emerging as a prime target for the Serie A giants.
