Despite his strong showing, Musiala is uncertain about his prospects of securing a regular starting spot under Bayern’s coach Thomas Tuchel, who has often favored Thomas Muller over him. Musiala’s contract with Bayern runs until 2026, and talks about a possible extension were initiated with former Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic during the summer. Beyond Liverpool’s interest, Real Madrid is also keen on acquiring Musiala, potentially pairing him with Jude Bellingham at the Santiago Bernabeu.
