Manchester United and PSG Compete for Inter’s Dimarco

Manchester United is eyeing a move for Inter’s left-back Federico Dimarco, a player also on PSG’s radar. The urgency arises from United’s defensive woes; both senior left-backs, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, are sidelined with long-term injuries, leaving manager Erik ten Hag with makeshift solutions. Sergio Reguilon, the only proper left-back, is on loan from Tottenham. Consequently, United might make a move for Dimarco in the upcoming transfer window, as per Calciomercato.

In this scenario, PSG is a strong contender, heightening the competition. Inter, however, might counter with an enticing offer; they are contemplating a new long-term contract for Dimarco, doubling his current wages. Although Inter aims to retain the Italian international, a significant transfer fee around €50m (£43m) could tempt them to sell.
