Manchester United Captain Bruno Fernandes Sparks Interest from Saudi Arabia

Reports suggest that Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia. It is said that he is set to meet with Saudi officials, indicating a potential move to the Saudi Pro League. Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s high-profile transfer, the league has successfully recruited renowned international players like Riyad Mahrez, Neymar, and Karim Benzema from Europe. Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to strengthen its league continues, with efforts to sign top talents such as Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City and Mohamed Salah from Liverpool. Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is reportedly considering a move for Fernandes, as stated by Italian reporter Rudy Galetti.

Taking a broader perspective, Fernandes joined Manchester United in January 2020 and was appointed captain ahead of the current season, succeeding Harry Maguire. During his tenure with the Red Devils, he has played 200 games and scored 67 goals.
