Paris Saint-Germain Set to Launch £85m Bid for Harry Kane, Competing with Bayern Munich

Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is preparing to make an £85m ($110m) offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, aiming to outshine Bayern Munich in the pursuit of the player. RMC Sport reveals that Kane has become PSG’s primary target this summer, surpassing Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic. A delegation from PSG has reportedly traveled to London for discussions with Tottenham, including chairman Daniel Levy, regarding a potential deal. The French champions are willing to put forth the £85m offer to secure the services of the England captain.

In the broader context, Bayern Munich has already made two bids for Kane, both of which were rejected by Tottenham. The most recent bid amounted to £70m ($90m), and Bayern is reportedly contemplating a third offer. While Kane is eligible for a new contract with a weekly wage of £400,000 if he rejects a transfer and remains at Spurs, he currently has no intentions of signing it during this transfer window.

It’s worth noting that Kane is said to have a preference for a move to Bayern Munich over PSG. However, negotiations with Levy are anticipated to be challenging. Nevertheless, PSG’s bid is likely to be the highest offer Tottenham has received so far this summer. Tottenham’s new manager, Ange Postecoglou, has confirmed that he received no assurances regarding Kane’s future upon joining the club but expressed hope that the striker will continue his tenure in North London.
