Premier League Return in Sight as West Ham and Wolves Pursue Jesse Lingard

Jesse Lingard may be making a Premier League comeback this season, with both West Ham and Wolves expressing their interest in securing the services of the free agent. The former Manchester United midfielder has been without a club since the conclusion of his Nottingham Forest contract at the end of the previous season. Sky Sports reports that West Ham United and Wolves are actively pursuing the 30-year-old for a potential signing.

Notably, Lingard had a successful loan spell at West Ham in 2021 during David Moyes’ tenure, where he made a significant impact, contributing nine goals and five assists in just 16 Premier League appearances for the club.

As for his immediate plans, Lingard has been diligently training with West Ham throughout the summer to maintain his physical fitness. There are indications that he might participate in a closed-door match for the club in the upcoming week.
