Young Defender Luka Vuskovic Set to Join Tottenham Amidst Heavy Competition

Tottenham is on the verge of securing the signing of the highly-touted teenage defender, Luka Vuskovic. Despite interest from several prominent clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City, the towering center-back is set to join Spurs.

Vuskovic made a significant breakthrough, earning a place in Hajduk Split’s first-team lineup during the spring, an impressive feat considering he had just turned 16 years old in February. He played a pivotal role in his team’s Croatian Cup victory and even became Hajduk’s youngest-ever goalscorer a mere five days after celebrating his 16th birthday.

After successful negotiations over the weekend, Tottenham emerged as the front-runners for Vuskovic’s signature, with personal terms having been agreed upon. Due to his youth, Vuskovic will continue his development at Hajduk Split until he reaches the age of 18 before making the move to north London. As a result, his transfer is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2025.

While the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, there are speculations that it falls in the vicinity of £12 million.
