Chelsea, along with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, is in a battle to secure the signing of Julian Hall, the rising star from MLS. Chelsea has been keeping a close eye on the 15-year-old talent ever since their encounter in an U-15s Generation adidas Cup match in April. Initially, Chelsea had plans to bring him for a trial at Cobham before his 16th birthday in January. However, Hall has recently extended his contract with MLS club New York Red Bulls until 2026.
Despite this, Chelsea remains determined to acquire Hall’s services and is competing fiercely with United, City, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich for his signature, as reported by The Evening Standard.
In light of Hall’s new contract, his current club now possesses the authority to reject trial offers, including those from Chelsea. There’s even a possibility that the club might consider sending him to their affiliated clubs, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, in Europe, to further nurture his promising talent.”
