Chelsea and West Ham Battle for Palmeiras Luis Guilherme

Chelsea faces stiff competition from West Ham in their bid to sign the 17-year-old Palmeiras prodigy, Luis Guilherme. Premier League Brasil reports that both London clubs are vying for the talented attacking midfielder’s signature. Representatives from Guilherme’s camp held talks with several European clubs, including Chelsea and West Ham, last week. They’ve been notified that a formal offer must be submitted to Palmeiras before the U17 World Cup commences on November 10.

In addition to Chelsea and West Ham, European powerhouses Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also reportedly keen on acquiring the young talent. Despite having a contract with Palmeiras until 2025, Guilherme is expected to make a move before his deal expires. Palmeiras has rebuffed a bid from Chelsea, indicating they are seeking a transfer fee of approximately €35m (£30m), as reported by R7 Esportes.
