GloboEsporte reports that despite Liverpool’s willingness to offer around €30 million for midfielder Andre, Fluminense has firmly rebuffed any advances. The Reds have expressed strong interest in securing the Brazilian player’s services this summer, aiming to fill the void left by Fabinho’s departure to Saudi Arabia. However, negotiations between Liverpool and Fluminense have encountered obstacles, as the Brazilian club is intent on retaining the 22-year-old until January.
Andre is currently under contract until December 2026, and given Fluminense’s competitive position in the Copa Libertadores, they are reluctant to part ways with a pivotal player. Yet, according to GloboEsporte, Liverpool remains unwavering in their pursuit of Andre, maintaining a belief that a mutually beneficial agreement can be reached.
